Frequently Asked Question #

Q: How do I move a Twilio number from another CRM into my Aiphilia-connected Twilio account?

A:If your Twilio number is currently managed by another CRM, start by retrieving the Twilio Number SID from the other CRM provider (or ask your client to provide it). Log into the Twilio account that’s connected to your Aiphilia agency, then use Twilio’s number transfer process—either by using the Transfer Number API or by contacting Twilio Support—to request a reassignment of the number into your account. Once the number appears in your Twilio console, go to Agency View > Settings > Phone Integration in Aiphilia. From there, assign the number to the appropriate sub-account and confirm that it appears in that location’s Phone Numbers settings.

Q:What should I do if I don’t see my number after completing all the steps?

A:If everything IS followed correctly and the number still isn’t visible, please Contact GHL support for assistance.
Provide them with:

  • The phone number you’re trying to move
  • The losing SID and gaining SID
  • Any error messages or confirmation emails from Twilio
